iZoom is a software designed for people with visual impairment. The program allows seeing and hearing contents on the computer screen as well as providing access to applications, documents, PDF, email and the Internet. iZoom Screen Magnifier / Reader can help individuals with ‘early vision loss, computer vision syndrome, and visual impairments such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. iZoom has dual monitor support and is capable of magnifying the screen up to 36 times; it also allows to choose which part of the screen is to be magnified with 8 different zooming modes. Color adaptation controls are available to help improve the clarity of the screen. It also provides enhanced locator capabilities to help the user to find the mouse on the desktop effortlessly. In addition to the screen reader, it has mouse echo which reads the text you point at as well as typing echo which speaks the letter you type. The product is also available in a USB portable version which allows individuals to carry iZoom everywhere.
